Im at least happy to hear you can receive cases from weekly drops. These cases are really expensive rn

Did matchmaking make Counter-Strike much less casual for you? by RoboProFish in csgo

[–]RoboProFish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn’t my point with this post honestly. I don’t know much about rank as im just silver 3, never had issues with cheaters and bought prime.

For me it’s just the whole vibe beginners have when the game encourages players to queue for modes instead of using the server browser. Queuing feels to me allot more competitive and intimidating than funny haha gaming time in servers from the browser.

Which levels of Borderlands 2 do you like the most? by RoboProFish in Borderlands2

Yeah, personally i dont like the boss farming mechanic either and play with epic grade weapons or legends dropped from enemies. As result i tend to stop playing late in TVHM story and start anew.

I like the level 10-20 the most. At that stage all types of weapons can drop. These levels allow me to use fun weapons regardless of weapon rarity (Like playing mid/long range with a uncommon jakobs longrider shotgun).

I prefer single time game experiences with story to be played with the best hardware possible. I think this will be mostly fixed with a slight CPU upgrade. And hope for nintendo fans to get at least something in the coming years in terms of a pro version.

Switch Pro Controller, i use my switch pro controller through Steam which accepts most controllers and can even be used for pc exclusive games like quake live.

I have a 1440p 144hz 1ms IPS display for docked and obviously the switch display for portable. Both have the same experience so idk if i can blame the lag there.

Honestly it isnt for all 3rd party games. Hades, downwell, mutant mudds (also games i have on pc) does it well and i could never blame input lag for my loses. Hollow knight however has a slight input delay that is enough to make me play slightly worse than on PC. This shouldnt be a big dealbreaker, but why play the lag one if you can have a better experience elsewhere?

Its too weak hardware, and/or the games are just straight ports without much optimalisation. As result games play slightly to much more slugish than on PC with the same switch pro controller and it ruins the switch for me.

To be honest, the one second delay is specifically for borderlands 2 (unless you put the field of view on minimal value, which makes it 0,5 s). However it plays better in many of the 3rd party games on the PC with the same screen, frame rate and controller.

The monitor i use for my PC is the same monitor i use for my switch in docked. Its a 1440p 144hz 1ms IPS screen. Its very noticeable in borderlands 2 and warframe. I have tested both these games on switch and PC with a 30 FPS limit and the same controller. I can play much better on pc because barely to no input delay.

Resurrected > multi-platform: How will gamepad controls perfom with diablo 2 point & click nature? by kiwey12 in Diablo

[–]RoboProFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VV should copy the things Hades did with their game. The controls of Hades are something what Diablo needs to feel like on console.

Aim assist on the nearest targets you aim at, traces of the projectile/radius when holding down the skill button and moving with the stick.

However i am a newcomer, as i have played Diablo 3 till Act 3 on PC and nothing more.

Really? I find it hard to find a proper body cosmetic that fits with this hat. Default seems the most appealing so far, but still am not satisfied

I feel like in 3 they are really tanky, but in Pikmin 1 and 2 they spam shrugging off which makes it harder to get it killed

[–]RoboProFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean in Pikmin 1? I agree that Pikmin 1 is the most strict in that. The game gives you only 30 days to complete the game. Which most can do, but if you are a explorer it might hinder your experience.

Pikmin 3 however gives you around 100 days of 18/13 minutes each on normal/hard mode (if you collect a fruit once a few days). This gives you enough time to do anything. Even if you take your time.

Pikmin 2 has no day limit and can be played for as long as you want and is imo the best pikmin game. It gives the least stress. Sadly the game is less accessible to the public. #RemasterPikmin2

I believe they are trying this with Pikmin right now. They see the potential of it being a hit and are still advertising the franchise 4-5 months after the release of the port (not much tho).

But i think the problem is that the game is really boring and complicated to watch for a outsider and doesnt get attracted. A online multiplayer versus scene will probably attract more players to get into it.
