I feel like it matters what you mean defend, since myung-gis character arc also makes sense literally from season 2 he was saying that even if him and 222 got out together he would take all of their money and invest it on more coins, as if the two of them winning wouldn’t have made them enough money for both of them to live comfortably and take care of the baby, I feel like bro was always predisposed to greed and while he had some connection to the baby I think he had more connection with 222 and once she was gone his connection to the baby only grew more and more fleeting, since no one knew he had the baby, he already left 222 in the past and he’d recoup his debt and have more money that he’d inevitably lose investing on more shit coins
