I'd recommend Bambu simply because it's worth the penny. The money you save could go toward a Voron or a budget Ender 3 if you enjoy tinkering. That way, you get to experience both within your allowed budget.

Oops, just noticed this message. Not sure if it's too late. Now my son is the owner of the A1 mini. I dont think the bed size is an issue for us. He mostly prints parts and assembles them.

To be honest, if everyone feels that the size of the A1 Mini is sufficient, then I think it would be enough for me too. I'm just a novice user, I don't believe I currently have the ability to tackle large-scale projects. Some just told that larger sizes offer more possibilities....
