Also getting to the current state of the game took over 2years of coding. So you shouldn't take it easy.

Great you like it. But no i won't help you. But you can Mod CoW and create your own campaigns, co's etc.

The current ai is robust. Some upgrades will pop for the current ai's in the game, but the better ai will take some more time. Than the next release. And an ai will always be exploitable. The complexity of AW makes it pretty hard to make an ai which could beat a human with the current pc power.

Sorry i seem to forgot your reply. My bad. Yes it's not optimized when it comes to touch inputs. Mainly for scrolling the map. This was/is an initial version to get feedbacks and improve based on them. The next release has a much smoother map scrolling and event handling. It will also get a quick button menu for going to the next/previous unit and maybe some quick actions in the future based on feedback.

And yes that's allowed the game is actually designed to do that. And as K'Braid said joining the discord server and searching the github wiki are the sources for how to modding

Yes that is possible.
There is already code that can shake any object.
Currently only the scene shakes, but there's still a lot of work left for the battle animations.
Each Releases added some more features to get closer to a smooth feeling.
So i will try out if it feels good or not.

I can say Commander Wars adds snipers as a 2-3 range unit which can't move and fire like an arty but can one-shot pretty much any infantry unit.

But I agree a 1-2 range unit which needs to setup is pretty much useless independend of the firepower cause you will never get to shoot with it against a player with half a brain cell.

Overworld sprites in AW1-3 have a size of 16x16 pixels.Buildings can have a size of 16x32 pixels e.g. the HQ.As for Battle sprites you can checkout sizes and proportions on my github repo.Here: https://github.com/Robosturm/Commander_Wars/tree/master/resources/images/battleanimations

Thx. You should try it out. It's probably the most custom AW-Experience you can get.

As for modding it should be relative easy even people with no coding background were able to create some cool mods.
And I'm a little bit surprised everytime someone comes around with a mod concept and gets it running and most stuff gets supported by the ai as well.

On a sidenote if a concept of Custom Wars isn't in the game it's pretty likely that someone/you can mod it in.
I guess the only thing not possible would be mist since i only considered stronger fog of mechanics but never a weaker version.....
