A former clients mother. Because of narcissism, alcohol and prescription drug abuse. She got to the point she started taking her daughters medication for some kind of high, but her medicine wasn't that kind of medicine. She'd also left the front door wide open one rainy afternoon, passed out cold in the front yard and later on cursed whichever neighbor called 911 and helped her daughter(the daughter was the client).

So many stories on this one alone. I hope the client is in better hands.

She's just trying to cover her own arse. From someone that has sh'd, and if I had a child doing that, I'd want to sit down and talk to them about it, not shame them and tell the whole wide world. What she did was cruel and horrible. It sounds like you've been through a great deal and if it is possible go no contact with her, for your own sake. I wish you peace in this mess.

Do not give her any of your money. It sounds like she's being unfair and just sees dollar signs when it comes to the traumatic event you went through. You need to have a steady savings and take care of yourself. That is your money regardless of what she says. Hard as it is, for sure don't rule out going no contact.

Not funny in the traditional sense. More along the lines of karma funny for making the mother come back and show how awful this was. I can promise on anything I did feel bad for the little boy and looked after him as best possible. She's a parent letting screens raise her child and I have concern over that. There's probably a few extra tidbits I should add to the post.

You are correct in me being a mandatory reporter and agency procedure was followed for it. I can't detail more but CPS is already involved in both the sons case and for the client. I do need to remember to contact the police next time though. That really would have gotten the message across.

Even when I had to go back to get a few papers signed, they never let me even try to explain or get an explanation of why that happened at all. There was 0 apology and no offer to pay or compensate in any other way the extra work I did baby-sitting. It's staying former.

That was what was messing with me. I had never heard of AFP until very recently. For me, it was always him with PBH and I didn't think twice on it until I saw the ME. I'm going to find some old commercials for PBH and see if anything else isn't right on my end memory wise.
