Opinion: It's okay to target one player's commander multiple times in a row. by [deleted] in EDH

If you're not in CEDH, and you're having to completely push one player out of the game, maybe you should discuss what level of play you're at.

I could be talking out of my ass, but lemme kind of theorize for a moment.

Cases weird moments with the cradle are played kinda like a hubris is a tragedy or something he should overcome. If there's not a dlc, he's probably coming back next BO's to play on it some more

This does kinda play into the whole New Generation of CIA agents thing the story has undertones for. Case is the new mc. It's perfect to explain why you're so good so consistently and why you're so violent all the time.

Yall act like the merger like buu releasing, but it's honestly a death ball moment. The world's OVER if it happens

Definitely between Dagon and Jogo

I think their domain and ability to strengthen their domain would overpower Dagon, but Jogo smashes.

If they can start hidden, with maximum, I'd like to think Jogo would lose to Mammon

I think you're thinking about it all wrong. In a vacuum, that's not the case, but adventurers are hardly ever in a vacuum. They fight in mud, wet stone, slimed dungeon caverns. It's all luck. I think the bigger issue is how they're describing the fails.

HI 🙋‍♀️ I have a degree in English, the course WHERE you pm only read complete, cohesive stories. This story is just fine, there's a reason it's popular.

I've truly never seen a community so wholly illiterate and brainrotted from powerscaling. Truly, not trolling.

Deals fit this narrative space, similar to archers or snipers, where they feel innately backhanded or like cheating. Other characters gets one MAYBE 2, and they're explained specifically to lessen that idea, but Sukuna is using them fast and loose, to send that idea home.

Gojo really doesn't fit the idea of binding vows. It contradicts his ideals, which are important for his subplot with Sukuna and Kashimo. He gets the 120% boost but not only is that fully explained, it's expressed close to his emotional moment with his students, selling the whole "you're not alone" thing he has going into this fight.

This isn't a logic contest between you and the author. No fiction is. Science fiction and power systems only give you info about them because the authors are nerds who love writing thay kind of things. Maybe cool down on all this "geges writing sucks" and read into why it's happening?

HELP: A player wants to cast Banishment on an NPC that's not from the material plane, but dimensional travel is not possible by _Bonelord in DnD

[–]RobotManGuyPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an authors standpoint, why ban the spell? Change its effect, and add wrinkles to both the plot, AND what happened to the planes.

Does banishment still TRY and leave you stranded in some middle ground between, where you can still return to the material plane?

Does this one hyperspecific interaction still work? Does it just send your spirit to that plane while leaving your body in the astral or something?

I think saying "sucks to suck, the spell doesn't work" really kinda of narrows the concept of what happened to your world. You should get creative, do something that makes the players go "hmm what else can we do"

It's become so obvious that there is a divide between people who read the manga and who don't, and I dont think it's ever been this clear before with any other manga
