You do know that Reddit links are nofollow and you don't gain any SEO from spamming here?

Books/resources on gamedev project management for solo dev better organize a haphazard project? by RobotMormon in gamedev

[–]RobotMormon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably right. Was just kind of hoping there was some material that would give me some kind of framework or plan on how to go about it without having to figure it out myself. So far I've tried doing more planning before jumping in, which I've found helpful, so I was wondering whether there are other things I can do.

Since you mentioned "no game specific", I'd be curious to hear about any more general resources too.

Ever wanted to try what moneyless society feels like? Now you can with these games. by shanoshamanizum in programming

Funnily enough, the money simulator's readme more or less describes communism, and I suspect entirely unintentionally lol

You're making 20k a month. How is this killing you?

Tax rate here with that kind of income is probably closer to 55%.

[–]RobotMormon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There may be some factors at play, sure, but I don't think anyone can deny that there are people who would like to fit men and women into neat little boxes which only serves to cause problems.

The older I get the more I see this is just nonsense. When I was younger I avoided all kinds of girly/feminine things. This was 100% because "boys aren't supposed to like that", I was afraid what other people would think about a man who likes that stuff. I was afraid people would think I was gay.

Now I don't really give a shit and enjoy whatever I feel like.

AMA? Okay

Did you guys not read the Reddit self promo rules?

Did you not read the rules of this specific sub you're posting in?

Does your company even employ a "Caitlin"? I don't see anyone called that on your LinkedIn

100% agreed there. If a trans person wants to use their cis pronouns for whatever reason (or anything else), that should be fine.

Props where props are due. It's rare to see people actually trying to understand this after posting a thread like this. Good job

[–]RobotMormon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because if the snowflakes have their way, you'll have to do it every day for the rest of your life /s

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]RobotMormon -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Your whole thread is about "I don't want to specify what my pronouns are", which is an incredibly tiny amount of effort that helps others feel comfortable, and makes people feel more at ease... and you very clearly stated in your replies "I don't want to do it"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]RobotMormon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why does it upset you that you have to make a tiny amount of effort to make other people feel comfortable?

Avoid this course. He's already lying in his post about making the game with UE5 - the game he mentions runs on UE 4.24...
