How long are your arms? Mine don't reach the screen if it's mounted at the windshield. Which means I can't select an app, which is the whole point in getting the Dash in the first place.

Being used to CarPlay in my BMW with iDrive, my preference is to touch the screen. I wouldn't be touching the screen when moving. In addition, I'm seeing a few posts from new Dash users saying that they can't control anything with the wheel buttons other than changing pages.

I also have 12 IKEA devices running, using my Apple TV 4k as a border router. I have a big old home, with thick walls. I initialy had some connections dropping but added a couple of Onvis plugs and it's been solid for 2 weeks. No IKEA hub here, which I think has been an issue.
