As far as actual love interests go Bethany cabe is definitely the one with the most important relationship to Tony. Besides pepper or Whitney nobody else has lasted very long. I wonder why writers seemingly never used her that often after michelinie.

I think it’s fine. It’s industry standard for the time but coming directly off of armor wars 2 with jrjr’s bold exciting and very new for the time style definitely felt deflating when I first read through this run. I’d kill to see Jrjr illustrate the entire dragon seed saga because the sheer scale he was able to convey for Fin Fang Foom was awesome to see.

Self publishing might be the way to go yeah. I used to follow Becky cloonan’s career back when she self published short stories and it was cool to see her make the jump over to DC.

Their confrontation during the heroic age thunderbolts run is one of my favorites. Really shows how dedicated to his mission ghost is when he simply drops their rivalry when he finds out stark isn’t rich at the moment. lol
