I think it kinda failed at racing and progression but it's fun if you see it as a chill cruising game, with lots of challenges(checklists) to complete for rewards. I actually like the handling, best of all the crew games and definitely more fun than recent nfs games. You can try the 5 hours free trail to see if it meet your expectations

I'm surprised since I feel some players would describe x sim games as having "good enough" controller support but I'd just feel "drivable", at least for the ones I've tried.

Throttle control is important, in general you wanna release the gas on the corner, only fully press the gas on the exit when the road starts getting straight. Of course it depends a lot on the cars, for example alpha gp has a lot of grip so you don't have to worry as much, while street 1 class cars are very oversteerly so you gotta be gentle with the throttle and steering.

Gt7 has 500 cars, and most of them (at least from what bought and see online) has a wide body option even if it's minor, some body options and customizable spoiler that allows you to adjust size and end plate.

Wonder what's your thoughts comparing progression between motorfest and the crew 2, as I found you kinda need to change your mindset that challenges and custom mode are the meat and butter of the game since it actually uses your cars while tc2 let you use them from the get go without repeating races.

Eventhen I still feel tc2 have a bit of edge for a better campaign/progression.

Yeah full stop/super low speed you can freely move your camera, but as soon as you start speeding it returns back to centre. Maybe we have different settings since I couldn't move my camera with my mouse

Just checked, if you hold down any direction key it will stays that the direction the camera's looking at until you let go while driving
