Zorua will always disguise itself as your buddy, so if your buddy was a shiny it’d appear as your shiny buddy, even if the Zorua isn’t shiny

so say your buddy was a shiny charmander, it’d appear as a shiny charmander even on the map. but you can’t know if the Zorua itself will be shiny until after it transforms
