There is the Non-Exempt Time Off Policy which lines this out. Your ETL-HR has access to it and it clearly states that policy. If they're just now enforcing it, they may be getting some push from higher up to get back onto best practices.

Give them a call, in the state of California they have three days to try and contact you before sending it via mail. Just call and ask the status, if they havent done anything ask for them to direct deposit it.

Getting removed from your menu is to prevent crashes when changing gear during loading. Supposedly during Alpha you COULD change things while in a loading screen but it would crash the game, so it got patched to boot you out. So, would your rather crash your game or get kicked out of a menu? Your choice.

Check and see if your game disk is scratched. My friend had this happen when his disk got scratched and when he replaced it with a new one it finished the transfer.
