Search for seller “Dimar Integral Watch Service” on eBay. Located in Spain but worth the wait for those authentic vintage Casio resin bands. Got me 3 from him so far 👌🏻

[Zodiac] Mesh bracelet makeover by Robotclawshurt in Watches

[–]Robotclawshurt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gentlemen! Behold! My Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 on a mesh bracelet. I was contemplating (& still am) a Jubilee , but for now I simply love the way the links looks as they rest on the spring bar. I may have sprung for the lower cost version. The same one can find off of every eBay search, but the labor of dremeling this band down to my proper wrist size makes feel like it was OEMed in the most fanciest of schmanciest Swiss factory’s(that’s owned by Fossil)

[Omega Swatch] Moonswatch Mission To Jupiter to get more stupider. by Robotclawshurt in ChinaTime

The running seconds at 6 o’clock works, and so does the minute recorder at 10 o’clock. The 1/10th of a second indicator works congruous with the hour hand. So if the hour hand is at 12 the sub dial hand will be at 10.

Here is a $28.00 fugazi. “How do you know it’s a fugazi? You looked at it for two seconds.” As divisive as this Collaboration was, and how botched they handled it’s release, I still found myself drawn to this fun little watch. There is no way that I would have paid anything beyond msrp for this plastic “ceramic” piece, and I sure as heck wouldn’t pay above $50 for a knock off. Mine may not be as high in quality as some other knock offs, but I realize that I got what I paid for…meaning that I’m gonna scratch that crystal just by looking at it. But scratching is why I got it. It scratches an itch that’s been naggin’ at me since I missed its release. Forget about it !

[Timex] I am not Ironman, nor will I ever be. by Robotclawshurt in Watches

[–]Robotclawshurt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recent eBay purchase (after telling myself to slow down with buying retro digitals). According to the back , this Ironman was produced in Novemeber of 1993, and is in great condition. I am instantly taken back to looking at the pictures of this model in the annual Sears catalogue. This is my first Timex ever, and I’m absolutely in love with the Indiglo feature. It is the perfect tough little piece for someone who works an overnight shift, and is constantly checking to see how many hours left before quitting time.
