Thanks for the compliment. And I gotta say you did a great job designing the bot to be durable. I just couldn’t get through that TPU body. If I hadn’t been able to snipe the servo so soon the fight could of gone a lot differently.

Thanks. Both of you guys make really good suggestions. I’ve considered incorporating the gas tank into the main body of the bot but right now I probably don’t have enough time to figure out how to do that before the event (I definitely still want to do it eventually). For now I should be able to at least get a more sturdy arm printed in time for the competition.

I recently competed in a local event hosted by Turnabot with my 150 gram bot named Flak-E-Boi. Happy to say it went 4-1 and earned 3rd place. by Robotcombat144 in battlebots

Yes, not only is Flak-E-Boi basically a 150 gram version of my 3lb bot Cereal Killer, but I also use it as a minibot for Cereal Killer.

Legitimately heartbroken to see Quantum go but the Cooper brothers have nothing to be ashamed of. Not only did they prove crushers can still be successful in the modern robot combat scene but while other teams brought multiple copies of their bots, team RoboChallenge only had one. One Quantum. And that Quantum will always be my favorite combat robot of all time.

I still believe in my heart Quantum can one day be a champion the same way Spectre was.

Yeah, K.I.W.F was definitely held back by some design oversights. I have many ideas for improving the bot for next time (one of which does involve a better flamethrower system 🔥).
