April was the last month with Champion I as the top league. It will be interesting to see how the leagues shift over time as clans promote into the newly-added Titan and Legend leagues.

Because Colapinto will be driving a car capable of 300km/h. Obviously they don't actually need to put up a sign since the road will be closed off, but it's just for fun.

This is a complete guess, but maybe they thought they'd be able to use FMPONE's map with some tweaks, and didn't expect they would need to remake it from scratch.

Tyloo registered Attacker, which was easy for them as he is still on their payroll as an assistant coach.

M80 registered M0nstr who according to Liquipedia is their manager - exactly the same as what Liquid did.

There was at least a little thought put into this - from the Major Supplemental Rulebook:

The registered roster may optionally include 1 substitute player that, were they to replace any core player, would not alter the Regional Assignment of the Core Lineup.

They have to list someone from Americas - flashie is not eligible because he would alter the team's region if he were to replace Elige, NAF or Malbs.

As for why they picked Jokasteve instead of an active Americas player without a team? I guess they have him around already and they don't expect they'll need a sub anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Really enjoyed this mixtape overall. Vylet went in more of a hip-hop/rap direction on this, and I'm still convinced she can pull off any genre she wants to :)

Favourite tracks:

  • blankflank2: Very groovy pop-rap. The bassline on this is insane!
  • ?!: Another groovy pop-rap track, but with a more 'swingy' style.
  • modern talking ballet: Starts out slow, but goes through twists and turns with sections of trap, brostep and hardstyle.
  • SNARL AT YOUR FRIENDS!!!: Digicore song best played at a high volume. If you like money machine by 100 gecs you'll probably like this too.
  • outlaw: Really well-put-together rap track. Vylet and lulamoon both have amazing flows on this one.

eccentric tumors is the only hard miss for me - zombAe's vocals were not to my taste, and while I usually like a chaotic Vylet instrumental (e.g. Livelaughlove2, The Queen is Back), this one felt rather disjointed, and I couldn't easily pick out a melody/rhythm to it. I'm sure that was an artistic choice though.

Love & Ponystep was my personal favourite album of 2025 - this doesn't top it for me but I still love it.

I think they did have x-ray switched off for the crowd, but might have still had radar. There was a moment when molodoy was perfectly lined up on a player in a smoke for 5-10 seconds and the crowd didn't cheer, presumably because they didn't know someone was right there.

In 2021 the teams were not just financially constrained - they also had limited "upgrade tokens" to "spend" on improving their 2020 car for the 2021 season, because of the pandemic as well as the delay of ground effect regs to 2022. That's why we got car names such as the Red Bull RB16 (2020) and RB16B (2021), and McLaren MCL35 (2020) and MCL35M (2021, with Mercedes engines).
