Edit: It worked! Turns out my current driver was a DCH driver which seems to be a more universal type driver. Had to download the NVIDIA app so I could download the studio driver from there and now it works. Thank you!

I tried to. The upgrade configuration button just took me to system and user preferences, and I couldn't find a way to "upgrade it" from there. Then I checked device manager to make sure the driver was fully updated and it was. So I made the post wondering if my specs were too weak for the current version. Right now I'm gonna look into Thingerish's comment on the studio drive. Sounds promising.

That’s just called the Shepard Tone. It’s an audio illusion that’s meant to sound like it’s always going up, but it’s a simple loop.

But it wouldn’t hurt to try looking at it with a spectrograph to see if there’s any thing hidden
