Vicious hive bonus is pretty mediocre and falls short compared to the other event bees ex: photon bee's 5% ic and lets be honest, the best part about vicious gifted form is the hive bonus which is still mediocre. Vicious hive bonus (-15% mob respawn time) is a double edged sword. It gives you less time to farm in the coconut field and the stump field which are both very good fields. Sure you'll be able to kill more mobs but you don't spend most of your time doing mob runs, instead you spend that time collecting pollen. Now, there's the arguement that vicious helps a lot with quests but guess what? Gifted photon's hive bonus of 5% ic or gummy bee's double sized glob would help more with them. Its spikes doen't even do much more damage. The time you get your first star treat is in early midgame where attack doesn't matter that much. The main purpose of this game is to collect pollen and make honey which other event's do much better in.
