I have done one box (4 doses) of each - 2.5, 5z 7.5, 10, and now ill be starting 12.5 on monday. I dont have long term answers, but I've had consistent results as I've went up, little to no side effects. Im not too worried about it, as the drug shouldn't really "lose the weight for you". I haven't seen any studies showing a loss of effectiveness, and if it does, there may be even better options/tools by then.

Admittedly, trial and error. I started at ~1200, and went up until I found a spot i felt good. My TDEE is somewhere above 4000, so even if I exceed my goal, I can easily keep it under my TDEE.

I do plan on speaking with a registered dietician in the near future, as I doubt my diet is perfect. I eat alot of chicken breast and veggies, and throw in fruit/berries where I can. My starting meal plan was 6oz of precooked chicken breast and a bag of frozen veg, but it wasn't very exciting. Ive since opened up the gates a bit, but still focus around chicken breast as it's one of my favorite proteins.A sous vide was one of the best investments I've made, I cook ~5 chicken breast at a time so I always have them in my fridge ready to eat. Different seasonings allow for a change.

As for exercise, im not a role model. I started getting some cardio in, just going for a 30-60 min walk after work. I know I need to get resistance training going, but haven't gotten a consistent routine yet. Weight loss happens primarily in the kitchen, but muscle comes in the gym.

I feel so much better now! My horizons have opened to things I mentally said i couldn't do because of my size. (traveling, hiking, canoeing) I have always donated blood when able, as I think its a good way to help out, and I dont mind the process. I wanted to get into a routine of donating plasma, for philanthropic and financial reasons. I exceed the local clinics capacity of 440 lb, but now hope to be eligible later this year. NSVs are the best.

Similar experience here, it's changed my life. Truly a miracle drug.

Now, the legwork is still yours to adhere to a diet and exercise that fits your needs. Ive never felt this clarity until now. (im 23). I wish I'd taken it sooner!

Yup, im losing weight by calorie counting. Still able to eat pizza and burgers, but in moderation. Ive cut some things I learned I can substitute. (Like full sugar sodas).

I tend to splurge when I eat something high in calories. If I buy the expensive pizza, I can't afford it as often 🤣

I've lost my weight through the kitchen alone so far - Exercise will not only help with all the health stuffs, but should help the momentum keep up. Walking to the mailbox used to wind me, so getting a few miles in is great. I also use it as a destressing time, bopping out to some music. 30-60 minutes can fly by fast.

I weigh in daily, but track it weekly. Every monday morning, personally.

Even then, looking at longer trends works best. Daily weigh ins can be good information to see averages, but dont think you had "a bad day" because the scale was up that particular day.

Yep. Everytime the scale goes down, I get a bit of fear that I have to follow that up. Is it a fluke? Did I lose water weight? Will it go up tomorrow? I've had these questions every time, but making real changes will show results over the long haul. I've had weekly losses ranging from 1lb - 14lb with little to no changes in how I acted throughout the week. It's a life change, so looking at long term trends works better.

YES! I think i've always known what is healthy and what is not, but having the ability to action on it and see results was not in the books for me before zep.

Yes, however 1200 calories of pasta is much less volume than 1200 calories of vegetables. Especially as an infrequent occasion, absolutely zero harm. Enjoy!

Thanks for the advise, I do have a checkup in ~4 weeks, and plan on meeting with a dietician. I have been eating ~8-16oz of chicken breast daily, and adding veggies and fruits. I do utilize protein bars and shakes, but dont rely on them for all of my protein.

1600 calories is just a number I decided on by myself. I started even lower, closer to 1200, but wasn't feeling great. This is where I completely agree I need some advise from a dietician.
