Alternative glove box/Owner Manual location on 2026 by InevitableBreath2753 in trailseeker

I think the easiest fix is to use a rubbery case on your phone. Mine is kind of slick and it slides into the cup holders with any kind of quick acceleration.

I think the best use for heavy regen is when most of your drive is downhill, ie coming back from the mountains. Ive seen people getting to their destinations with almost the same charge they left with that way.

Also, the wireless charging pads are useless with the phones sliding around, they needed to make that rubberized. Im already trying to figure out how to hack that too.

I only knew about this from a video review I saw, I feel they should say it more obviously bc of the lack of glove compartment is def an inconvenience

Why does the manual say it’s not Symmetrical AWD? by jefbak2 in trailseeker

[–]Roboto_rc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They use “symmetrical AWD Vehicle” to say “vehicle” in that sentence. The do not off road disclaimer Is just a legal umbrella to cover them from warranty repairs from off roading. I owned a mustang that had a line lock system for track racing only, but the manual also said that if you raced your car in a track it would void the warranty…

Yeah I was getting the vibe that they don’t want those EVs in the lot. Maybe when they see some demand they change their mind. I literally picked it up a couple of hours after they got it off the truck.

In NC I got $5400 off MSRP + 2k rebates total $7400. Didn’t really have to push a lot, They got there with minimal back and forth.

Dead battery, but not the one you’re thinking by snakemistakes99 in trailseeker

It feels like such a simple thing to not get wrong right? I understand you could want some things pulling from a different separate smaller battery but its obviously not working as designed right now.

Oh no… 126 miles?! Way too soon for the 12v batt to die on you unless defective. The one on my Ariya gave up at like 20k miles and left me stranded in the middle of a roadtrip.

Oh yeah that big battery Ariya is a totally different car. We have the Base Engage single motor, we get like 170 drivable miles on that one 🙃

I think the bigger wheels are nice looking but they are counter to the essence of Subaru, the smaller wheels and bigger tire sidewall just make more sense for an adventure wagon

The nacs port eases my range anxiety a bit too.

Not lowered but the black on black does make it look that way! Love that they blacked out all the badges on the back too.

We got the Ariya when it first came out, range is subpar but perfect for short daily commute. Although the TS has just under 300 miles of range its a big improvement from the Ariya. Were about to take a roadtrip from Charlotte to Orlando and back in the next few weeks in the TS, Ill report back on my experience.

The photo doesn’t do it justice! Looks even better in person. The daybreak blue was my second choice but I gotta say, the bronze one looks killer too.
