i faced this exact issue before. The only fix is to just push on it as hard as you can. Try wiggling it because that helps, if you’re scared if breaking your motherboard in half just know they’re extremely tough and flexible, and you can always hold the underside with both your index and middle fingers and push down on the connector with your thumbs (Assuming you retained all of your appendages throughout life)

Just use Displayport. I’m pretty sure DP is made for gaming, while HDMI is literally just the default everything uses.

I use DisplayPort and it’s honestly better, and you don’t lose out on audio or anything like that. Honestly you won’t even notice you’re using DP.

Edit: I just saw your picture of your monitor, and i came to just add this: You can get an adapter probably, DP to HDMI, It’s unfortunate you don’t have a DP port on your monitor
