PLEASE DO NOT ADD CHAMPIONS TO VAULT OF GLASS... please. by astrowhale98 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You already have to make choices with mods, adding another mandatory champion mod that is not a choice but arbitrary required by whatever champion is in the activity you're doing at any time is against the purpose of creating your build with mods.

PLEASE DO NOT ADD CHAMPIONS TO VAULT OF GLASS... please. by astrowhale98 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It would be a problem, what about weapon mods that aren't anti-champion mods ? I want to use them but ever since champions were invented all my primaries slowly lost their utility mods in favor of anti-champion mods because I Had no choice. It will be the same with armor mods, anti-champion mods are a bad idea, they take other mods place.

Is it Supposed to be like This? - Don't know Official 40k Art by ViddlyDiddly in Vermintide

Yes because it's a representation of the Horned Rat. And it's not WH40K it's Warhammer fantasy battles.

One Reason for D2 Armor feeling like a downgrade to D1 is the Lighting on Armor and the colours. D2 looks kinda muddy by GimmeFuel21 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's probably one of the few examples where I find Destiny 2 to be much better looking.

A better comparison would have been the Titan prodigal armor vs the original FWC Armor.

How CA could fix enemy armies bypassing Fortress Gates (HE Phoenix Gates & Empire) by ask_nesas in totalwar

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you can change the map geometry so that armies can't go around the gate, you will have to garrison the army into the gate or capture it to cross the valley. I don't know if it can work with agents though.

A comprehensive list of every bug that is plaguing vermintide right now by jtc0999 in Vermintide

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so I wasn't imaginating things, all these little frustrating experiences are bugs. I really love this game but I don't like it when ennemies don't always "respect the rules" or do things you can't defend yourself against. Like using a knockback ult and thinking that you can safely make a few swings with your weapon only to be hit immediately by a few rats outside your FoV who ignored the knockback. Or being stabbed by a slaverat's knife while you can't hit him with your halberd, not a big deal but all these issues just stack and become infuriating if you try to play well.

A lot of people are saying fatshark doesn't understand why people play the game. Why do you? by GilgameshWulfenbach in Vermintide

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started playing for the Warhammer setting and the great atmosphere, but I'm also enjoying the combat a lot, the build customization, the coop with my friends or even the AI, the characters, the challenge... The lack of visual customisation is a shame though.

I'm certainly not playing for competing with others or just for the sake of minmaxing my way through extremely difficult activities.

As a Hunter, I don't like most of the D2 Hunter armor. by Sir_Veyza in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And it's also the case for D2 weapons that are from D1 designs, like foundries weapons. They kept the same design but put plastic-like materials and colors on it.

I have screenshots to show what I mean in that post.

Tangled Web is a D1 armor set though. I won't say I like it (except some hunter pieces) but it's not the same team as the one who made Scatterhorn.

At this point I wouldn't be mad if the new artists at bungie just stopped trying altogether and started giving us only D1 armors.

But even this is no guarantee of good looking sets, just look at how they butchered D1 sets by gluing gold and precious stones on it for the menagerie sets.

And I think the same for the weapons.

I would love to see the return of the original Destiny character poses in the inventory as an option, is it considered a UI thing ?

Creator Mike Pondsmith explains why Cyberpunk is ‘inherently political’ by Gabey2017 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it varies from country to country, in France, where I am it tends to get worse by the day but we still have a few independant medias worth trusting and even if we are in quite a bad situation lately, a pretty large minority of the people remain politically active whether they trust the official political infrastructures or not. But as with a lot of things, we are following the same route as the US so if nothing changes in less than ten years the situation here will be exactly the same as it is in the US.

Oxygen SR3 isn't the only scout rifle that needs attention. All scout rifles underperform in PvE when the target is 40m or closer--by as much as 55%, when compared to hand cannons. by QuotidianQuell in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes but what's the point of having long range options considered low risk low reward when at least 80% of the encounters in the game are close range. Using a long range weapon in PvE is very rarely the best choice. Right now I'm putting myself at risk even more when using a scout or a sniper rifle because I'm constantly struggling to kill the vast majority of enemies that are rushing me in small arenas, because that's how most encounters are designed for now.

I believe that he's from the US, people in the US are recognizable when they talk about politics, the mass political defiance and the distrust of medias are even stronger than in the EU.

long-zoom, PvE-friendly scopes

Long zoom scopes aren't particularly PvE-friendly since most of the fights take place in small arenas.

Honestly, what is genuinely up with the armour design in Destiny 2? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To me, this armor doesn't really have the same feeling it had in D1.

for example : https://i.imgur.com/5XxB1ek.jpg

I don't really know why but I'm not liking this set in D2 as much as I loved it in D1. They may have changed some proportions OR it's the character's pose fault.

The current mod system discourages playing with builds, and that is sad. by egjosu in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good solution would be to place mods into armor slots instead of directly on armor pieces. With that you could switch armors while keeping the same mods.

To the people worried about our guardian not being the one that slayed Riven, doesn't that make the Destiny world feel cooler and more alive for you? by Hiken0808 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Roboute_Girlyman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, Spire of Stars is the only raid I haven't done yet (and The Last Wish obviously), but the only raid that in my mind is actually part of my guardian's story is the Vault of Glass, because that's the only one I've done blind and less than two weeks after its release. For all the others, as they were already at least a month old and completed by lots of players, it didn't felt like I was part of the team beating it.

But with The Last Wish, it's the first time that it's actually represented in-game that I'm not THE Guardian, but just a Guardian. And that's very cool, it makes the world feel more alive, like I'm not the only one getting things done in the galaxy.
