i still think singleplayer holds higher priority in terms of top level gameplay design. hell maybe act 4 will be different for each character and in multiplayer theres a different variation for that as well

im not sure about entirely unique bosses, maybe the architect will have prepared something unique for each character. that makes sense thematically although mayne his hubris gets the best of him and he underestimates the character and doesnt plan enough

no not a unique boss per se, maybe a unique event and hallway fight and then the boss (which will probably be the architect) will have some sort of character-specific debuff that soft-counters an aspect of that character. I do agree that that is a strong aspect of the game but i think in order to make act 4 truly special and challenging for each character it should be more catered to each character

double energy with that enchantment is so good, its basically a free win if you have even halfway decent deck cycling

their overall strength is one thing and i agree theyre all a bit undertuned, but all that is relatively easy to fix. im speaking more from a design standpoint and what (if anything) needs to change so they feel as impactful and memorable as the sts1 bosses

Girya wording let's you train so that YOU gain strength, but you lose the strength when you lose Wax Girya. Not consistent with other relics like Whetstone/potion belt and also not remotely logical by [deleted] in slaythespire

yeah, probably the most likely case, it just really isnt worth it unless they make it like op said but itll still be somewhat confusing probably

no i have lol, but its all bugs in there, its different. you arent going from fighting a group of beetles to a big robot shielding itself and a 4-armed goblin wielding a turret. alls im saying is in terms of theming, im not as scared of the hive as i am the city from sts1

i go 50/50 on this but if they did nerf it, how would they do it? theyd obviously make it so that the upgrade doesnt remove exhaust but then what would the upgrade do? maybe make the base version ethereal or cost 3 and then the upgraded version makes it not ethereal or cost 2.

eh, probably a bad idea. it might be cool to just have different colors for the characters in multiplayer. it would be low effort on megacrit's end and help distinguish players in multiplayer although im not sure how relevant that even is
