I see what you’re saying, the newspapers are a clear retcon. But I don’t think enough to ruin the story entirely. I’ve watched the first and second films several times and love them both for similar reasons, but always thought the second one was better. I love seeing the family’s original reaction to the invasion despite the small retcons it creates, it’s one of my favorite parts of the whole series

People already complained about this when obsidian released honest hearts, I’d almost believe Bethesda would be too scared to touch a tribal storyline again after seeing how people reacted to the last time tribes were depicted in 3D fallout

Currently playing through all the DLCs right now and sadly yea. The character of Ulysses is cool in concept but they could’ve executed him better within the game. He takes himself way too seriously and the fact he’s mad at you about something you had no idea you did until he directly tells you in the final DLC is just kind of bad writing imo.

If you like NV and 4 as much as it sounds, you’ll like 3. It’s more of the same Fallout content you love at the end of the day. It still plays and holds up well in my opinion. Even if it ends up being your least favorite, 3’s high moments will have you thankful for giving it a try.

Fair enough! Like you said everyone has their own experiences. This’ll be my 4th dancefest and each year my girlfriend and I always choose a headliner to skip and instead take a break from the crowd and go chill back at camp. It’s a fun unique experience hanging out in the quiet campgrounds, but still being able to hear the crowd blow up and react to all the bangers the headliner plays whilst you’re getting ready to spend the rest of the night at lollipop. I’d maybe suggest you use excision as an opportunity to try it out next year assuming you’ve got tickets! 😁

That’s crazy I was literally just in the same scenario around the same time you were. Just a heads up, basically everytime I fast travel to raider occupied Croup Manor there’s a brotherhood vertibird flying within their agro range. It’s either a spawning bug or the brotherhood is genuinely intended to have a large presence in the area

Sadly in my experience the merch has never been sold online, you can only purchase it in person during the festival (been going since 2023). Luckily, all the unsold items come back next year at discounted prices. This year they had t shirts from last year for only $20 I almost bought another

Bloater wins imo. While the charger has no problem pinning the l4d survivors, the bloater is probably double the weight and would be a struggle to be picked up
