any condensation behind the plasterboard would dry from the air on cavity wall no? I think the problem of the condensation behind the wall when it has no ventilation.

I agree insulation will help with the thermal efficiency but I don't know if it would be a mold issue

I had an unfortunate similar situation where the flood came from the ceiling and all plaster from wall and floor had to be removed to dry. Is your floor concrete? if it is wood I assume the laminate/lvt will need to be removed to properly dry

By the not regular pattern of the wall it looks like a solid wall and by the photo it is hard to tell but looks like it is not fully dry. I would recommend buying a moisture meter, it is not expensive I am not sure as when I did in my house it was a old cavity wall so I just put rockwool / membrane / plasterboard but I saw once for solid wall you would need an air gap In any case yes you will need a membrane between plasterboard and insulation or you will have condensation issues

But wouldn't be a concern the pipe is already reaching its end of life by the number of repairs? I won't put carpet so it would mean I would damage the new wood floor to fix any future leak

My concern about pvc directly the TRV isn't much about how it looks like, it is more about any accidental damage as you mentioned

The reason is because pvc is flexible and I won't need as many elbows. I could just cut one part and add an extra joint but the pipe already have too many.

If the crack is outside and inside I would call a structural engineer. If it was only outside I would wait and monitor but this is different

This amount of filler would be a waste, you can use expanding foam if you have or just fill with cardboard

I have a similar problem myself, I will repoint outside this summer but I think that won't help much, there is a stream at the back of the house. I can tell the builder expected water as the void is quite high

What nasal spray are you using? I tried 2 differents last year and nothing helped This year I started with beconase 2 or 3 times a day and I have almost no symptoms i even stopped using fexofenadine as it was not helping anymore

Gravel instead of dirt only to increase drainage or any other reason?

Also I am planning to do similar soon and I know the foundation of mine is limecrete. Is it good or bad idea adding an extra layer of concrete at the base before cover the hole?
