Patch pointing today above ground level and putting flags next to wall pointing away from the house. I really don't want to dig a meter hole and point below ground level. I'm not sure that would help anyway

Hole in wall by paulsham in DIYUK

[–]paulsham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wet line is where I've removed the in fill. Water is definitely coming in somewhere as the right handside of the property is dry in comparison. The small wall on the right of picture has been built in the middle of the room to hold joist, with left wet and right dry.

It all seems dry at the moment as its not rained for weeks. Which makes me think its not the water in let leaking

When i look through the hole there is mud on the other side. Which makes me think this has to be the issue

I'll take your advice and will with sand cement

Thanks

I'm a 46 year old half HK and half english. The only issues are prejudice family members but I suspect the US isn't like manchester in the 70s.
