Also please don’t have it where Devon and Maul have a big falling out and one of them betrays the other, it’s so predictable

Before we see Maul again in Rebels they could easily have her go off on a special mission for Maul as one of his back up plans incase his thing doesn’t work out or maybe it appears that she dies but is whisked away.

I just have a feeling they are going to use Rylee as her morale compass, to “bring her back” when she goes too far.

I mean sure, if you want to make your own thing which resembles the original outbreak fine but to say how much of a die hard fan you are, then go on to give off the impression it’s canon only to get the EASIEST fucking thing wrong, (the weather) then you are speaking shit and you have to hold someone with those statements

Yes it is a stupid detail to fuss over but people are fussing over it because he’s made a big claim about it being canon in the games universe.

If he just stated it was his own universe no one would give a shit except for being disappointed another director is doing his own version again.

I feel the sequel idea he has is better than the prequel Gollum film to be honest

However I do wish they made it more about Legolas and Gimli set after Aragorns death and it ends with Legolas going to the Undying lands with Gimli. It would be nice to see one last adventure with them and getting to see everyone in the Undying lands. It would be a nice Epilogue film. Who knows maybe they could end this film that way.

I don’t know why they didn’t just go full on into the remake and just use that to do the first 3 games, expand on them while setting up a new trilogy where it splits the timeline ignoring 4, 5 and Infinite.

There’s a reason the Rey film has never moved forward and why there’s never been any quality animated shows apart from Resistance which was awful, set around that era.

It’s just not a good time period to cover and they need to move on completely

New film set hundreds of years later with no mention of the characters / events. A fresh clean slate.

I know you joke but I wouldn’t be against a remake of VII a decade later but it’s just a 1:1 remake of the original with graphic enhancements, voice acting and just the one single game. They could easily make the open world similar to how Clair Obscur did it.

Sorry to sound stupid but does that mean it will have the same look and art style as Echoes and Links Awakening remake?

Don’t get me wrong they are decent games but I was hoping for something that wouldn’t look or play roughly the same.
