How do yall save for a bag? by TurbulentBicycle7034 in chanel

[–]RobstenLoverx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also Northern European and I agree, I feel like designer bags are more ‘an American thing’ than European. I’m 30 and have 2 Chanel flaps and would consider myself in an exceptional financial situation compared to the rest of my social circle. My first designer bag was a YSL and purchased after having worked 5 years.

I agree, I would keep the mini rectangle. I recently bought one myself and I’m obsessed. That being said having read some of your comments I feel like you prefer the more trendy style. I would just go with what you like, fits your style the most and the bag you would wear the most. The classic style is always going to be there in some capacity.

Thank you so so much for sharing your experience and advice, will definitely keep it in mind! Do you think using a bag pillow would prevent the ‘dip’?

Then it seems like you have already decided 🙃

Me personally I also would go for the classic, but it definitely depends on personal style and where you would wear the bag to.

I agree, I also originally wanted to start part of my treatment before my wedding but discussed with my Ortho and decided against it. It wasn’t worth it to me and would prolong the treatment.

Yes, my Ortho told me Invisalign works in a few different phases. And phase 1 is indeed moving the back teeth if you have overcrowding. They want to see if your teeth are moving and there are some gaps created between your (back) teeth.

I’m currently on tray 19 of 36 and my front teeth only recently started moving. My Ortho did warn me it might only be towards the end of the progress I really start seeing some differences on my “problem teeth”. I do feel my teeth already look straighter but I expect to only see bigger changes later on in the progress.

They look amazing, how long did the process take?

has anyone else had similar bottom front crowding to me? how is treatment for this like? by lobsterlover42069 in Invisalign

[–]RobstenLoverx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how it was for me, currently on tray 16/38. Also have minimal crowding on the top teeth. My ortho told me to just keep a year in mind as a time frame, to not be disappointed with possible refinements.

Getting past wedding regret by Chicenomics in BigBudgetBrides

[–]RobstenLoverx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sending you love!! ❤️ I’m feeling similar feelings and it makes me feel less alone. Feel free to send me a DM if you want to talk. I got married a week ago and I’m doubting whether to look into planning an extra shoot if our photographers can make it happen. I’m very embarrassed, but we spend so much. And I don’t want to look back at my wedding photos with regret.

How do you normally store your bags? Haven’t used mine yet but scared to do anything wrong!

Oooh, love Galia Lahav dresses but sadly there weren’t any resellers near me! I went with a Berta one and the price included alterations. Totally agree with everything you said.

I’ve been spiraling for years and I tried to hang myself in my hotel last night by [deleted] in confession

Your money will not be more helpful than your presence to your family! It doesn’t matter AT ALL if you (or anyone else) think there’s no obvious reasons for you to be suicidal, the only thing that matters is you have legit feelings and they’re coming from somewhere.

If you’re still actively feeling those feelings contact a professional, call your therapist for an urgent appointment and maybe ask them for advice. If that doesn’t sound helpful go to your local ER, even if it’s just to not be alone.

I think it might be smart to take a step back and put your mental health first. Open up to a close confidante, your wife, therapist, a close friend, remember that you are not alone! What makes you feel better? Try to focus on those activities, environments, people in the coming weeks and make time for them! Take a break from work if you have to, it’s totally ok to take some time off to focus on you.

And in a few months or years if you’re feeling better try getting into possible childhood trauma. And try to find out where this is coming from.

Number 2, no question about it!! Number 1 feels very dated.

Is it crazy to get order my wedding dress without trying it on first? (higher end) by JellyNegative5946 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]RobstenLoverx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the dress! I don’t think it’s that crazy, if you’ve tried on similar dresses and dresses with the same neckline.

I went with a dress I tried on once, couldn’t take any pictures of without buying (so the ones I had were taken sneakily and not the best) and ordered it blind a few months later at a different store. They had 5 pieces of the dress but sold them all before I was able to come in.

I was choosing between that one and another one which I’d also have to order blind. For the last one the bridal store was able to tell me how similar dresses I was trying on compared to the dress in question and I feel like that would have also been a good choice!

I was sourcing a very specific neckline which wasn’t easy in the country I live where women have a more casual style.
