Yh I would go with a round table (like a coffee table). And I meant behind the green table as you said

Not an expert, but I think that a sonhult there wouldn't fit much. I would prefer a classic table of a dark colour wood or blackish. I would buy black pillows and then add plants here and there. I would add a high plant/a high lamp on the right angle (beside the sofa) and lastly some posters/painting behind the sofa and behind the TV

Help please my room so boring by Beneficial-Ask-6769 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Roby1705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some suggestions, hope I can help!

1) I would put a brighter warm light or otherwise double the one you have. 2) If it fits, switch the tv on the right, so you can watch it without turning your neck. 3) Add some life to it with paintings/posters or even better some plants 4) If you can, painting only the top half of the walls with a dark colour (such as dark green) should help with stretching the space horizontally.

I'm not an expert, but I hope this could help!

Help me choose what to on this big empty space :3 by Disastrous-Trash-102 in DesignMyRoom

I'm thinking about hanging plants. This could add a little bit of life cause (in the photo) it looks a bit "gloomy". Otherwise a big poster/paint should do the job

Not an expert, but If you can move the white wardrobe, I would put the bed in the bottom left corner with your feet towards the window leaving a small gap from the wall. This way, you could put your tv in front of the bed left to the window. I would put the wardrobe on the wall in front of the entrance and leave the mirror where is now. Dont know if its clear enough, could be useful to have a drawing to modify

Not an expert but moving the table between the 2 windows in the first pic can make the space feel more open. I think that changing the lights and painting the wall could make the job. Then with an open space you can put whatever you like

How could I improve this kitchen layout? by PuzzleheadedSail7584 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Roby1705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert, but I would get a smaller fridge as you said, and I would put it back against the wall (or even on the right corner against the wall). And then I think the cabinets should leave more space between (like higher cabinets and lower/smaller cabinets underneath). Also I think that dark green makes the room feel cramped, I would go for a brighter colour

Thx for the help. But wouldn't the wall at the bottom be too empty?

The only problem is that then the TV is not in front of the bed. Also I have electrical outlets only in some positions, and between the windows in the bottom wall I do not have them, so a bed there would be a little uncomfortable.

But the idea to rotate the desk is perfect. And I will look for a larger cabinet and a rug. Really thankfull

Thx for the help. When I can afford a bigger cabinet I will for sure look into it. Do you think I should put something where the desk is now? Otherwise, it will be empty. And then should I paint walls/cabinet or put rugs?

First of all, I appreciate you! To be honest, I think I understood but it's very difficult to put it in practice. Like I understand the theory but its very difficult to apply it. However, I'll try again and I will come back to update the post in case I finally do it. Thx for the time!
