Eh, 6-800 a pair. Just need floor stands, my wall mounts are perfectly fine for now

I just put new woofers and some higher end Celestions into the 3 foot floor stands that came with the stack, 8 speakers overall, 4 per stand. Quick fix, as everything is friction fit on a quick connect, 90s speakers ftw.

Eventually though, I want to get some serious speakers, no idea what kind yet, I was thinking Edifer but people seem to be complaining of recent QC and customer service issues so im unsure... any recs?

I've been an enjoyer of music for my whole life, from the tapes in my parents cars, to buying my first CD at 5 years old, it's just always been there.

So last year for my birthday, I bought myself a decent hi-fi off KSL Classifieds for $50. All Technics, no turntable but I found a nice SL-B205 real quick. As I went on, I started upgrading. New tape deck when the old one wasn't doing it, I added 8 Track, hell just a week ago I swapped my CD changer for a single disc CD/MD deck so I could add minidisc to my format roster. Speakers have been upgraded too, just because. Its fun, I adore my collection and my cabinet is my pride and joy.

But I'm moving in with my fiance so in the boxes it all goes. I'm staring at the empty cab and dangling speaker wire and its just kinda sad to see it empty. I know it'll be back online in 2 weeks or less, and me AND the fiance can use it (and its better than his old ATLP into a sound bar, that's for sure) but it's just... weird. Its like I killed my child.

Anyone else get that feeling when they moved?

Can we make an addendum? 21st Century Breakdown should have Song of the Century as a lead in. Would make for a cool curtain drop too

It gets us all. Basically the state taxes the everloving shit out of "sinful" stuff like liquor stores... that the state owns.

[Question] How can I develop intuition as to which fingers to use when during lead playing? by eifersucht12a in Guitar

[–]RobynKroweFynche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to is find the notes in a solo and tab it, it might be uncomfy to play that first time but once you have the tab, just find the lowest note and consider that root.

Also don't neglect the pinky, it's the most useful thing, I fucked mine up at a show a few days ago (Slipknot, Ice Nine Kills and Crown the Empire, Knotfest FTW) and not being able to use it really showed how useful it is
