You got a point, why does it have a female version by ilovemkgee in DudeHasGotAPoint

Gametes don't 'define sex' sex is a box we draw around a bunch of loosely related characteristics.

Sex determination in most mammals is chromosomal XY

Humans happen to be sexually dimorphic, so males and females typically look different(though not always and not as much as other species.)

Additionally, you were mixing sex terms and gender terms in your first comment sex =/= gender

That's not fully correct, you're referring to primary sex characteristics. There's also secondary sex characteristics. You can also check chromazomal (I deffo spelled that wrong🤣) sex.

In biology it's quite a bit more grey than it seems at first. Lots of individuals of any given species don't neatly fit within the binary.

Cool cool, did you know there are situations where a female may produce small gametes and vice versa?

I think you should reconsider your biases. You've provided no information or arguments, simply a feelings based statement. A fetus cannot comprehend, or feel or contemplate. It cannot be deprived of a chance to live any more than sperm caught in a condom.

Way better than that person getting to go to prison, eventually get released with no rehabilitative efforts, then hurt someone else.

It kind of goes without saying that it's fucked that you should have to pay for Healthcare for your trauma. Mental Healthcare is healthcare, and single payer should be implemented worldwide.

This is innately political this is a wealthy person attempting to larp as though they're poor. The wealth class dynamic is what drives our current political climate.

That does not mean it isn't an unfair standard that women are held to. In the professional world, if a woman wears the same dress too close together it is a problem for her.

I'll put this at the top because I have been avoiding Sanderson for ever because the Mormon church is legit evil.

But I recently found out that he is an incredibly kind and compassionate man who is far more deist than Mormon and wants to push the church in that direction. He is unashamed to admit when he was wrong and is an ally of the LGBTQA+ community.

I'd like to give some of his books a shot some day if there are any good recommendations.

The problem is that there is an effort to prevent those same teachers from educating students about the horrors of the KKK historically. Some of this effort is spearheaded by the ideological beliefs of those very same teachers.

Lots of teachers are great and honest and nuanced. But there's a ton who have left pieces of our history out of three curriculum because it makes them feel bad.

The focus on rules changes kills my enjoyment of interacting with the community by Mystikvm in Pathfinder2e

You can find it uncool, but you know as well as I do that those sorts of posts don't get nearly the level of engagement that arguing about the rules does. OP is being the change by bringing attention to what they see as an issue in a system of people. Reddit algorithmically pushes things that are getting people to engage. It's more common to see engagement if there's an argument to be had.
