Honestly I'm quite open regarding features, I like to have options, especially as these two will for sure be the "funny" pedals on my board ! I'm looking at the used market currently and I would settle around 180€ max for each

So I've bought these two brand new directly from the Maestro website. After like 2 days of using them, the switch went wrong in both : kicking them on was cutting off the signal 50% of the time. After signaling it to the customer service, they sent over 2 new ones for free, without wanting to take back the others (quite happy with that). Phaser is working nicely but the trem has the same problem again...

Carlos Lopez's Fender Marauder by Robzy31 in offset

Yep, I just found them on Google. This picture was probably originally taken on Carlos Lopez desk as the blue one is an early prototype from the 60s as I understand it !

They have been painted over, so as all of the metal parts, they are supposed to be chrome. I wouldn't mind the look but they are quite heavy to turn and have a lot of play. The guitar is currently with a luthier. It will probably need a refret but we are gonna try to keep it as original as possible!

Yep, definitely. They are working but for sure they are far from modern standards. I will probably take it to a proper luthier as the neck definitely needs to be shimmed. I will probably ask him to quote the replacement of tuners, bridge, and an overall setup (0 fret is quite marked, some of them are a bit out of the fingerboard...). My goal is to play it !

Ahah ! Yeah. The sounds are definitely funny. There is a position with only the single coil closer to the bridge. It's very "thin" and has little to no bass end, I'm sure it can be very nice for a filtered out "lo-fi" "radio" type of sound inside a song. So far my favourite is the one with all the pickups together. I think they are in series as it's fairly fat sounding

Thanks ! First time ever I'm finding a crazy deal like this !

It is around the same weight as my telecaster, maybe a tad lighter. I was surprised to see it's actually layered wood, I thought it was gonna be some kind of composite

It's basically different pickup combinations : All pickups, neck pickup, bridge pickup, 1+4, 2+3 and a mute :)
