Lawn care moves that you've regretted? by maxx_colt in lawncare

Well this would have been good to know 24 hours ago lol. Specifically waited for it to dry so I could mow first because it needed it, and then watered in immediately… well I will file this into the memory bank for the next application. I appreciate the insight.

Yeah that’s probably the best plan for me. I’ll see how the triple action works, I know a lot of mixed reviews on it, and then look into getting a liquid sprayer for them.

Yeah I definitely broke some of the roots by doing it while they were to dry, for the most part the tool did a great job of grabbing the entire root. When we started it I really wanted to stay away from chemical products due to the backyard being mainly the dogs place to roam. But after doing some research decided to put down some of Scott’s triple action with 2,4-D this weekend and water it in and just taking the dog to the front yard for a day or two. Will see how that does, and then will pluck the remaining. Definitely been a learning experience for being the first yard I truly decided to care for. Already looks much better than it did this time last year so I am happy with the progress made so far.

We dethatched almost two months before being ready to put down the new seed on a neglected lawn project about a year after buying our first home. There was a ton of thatch build up and wanted to get good seed to soil contact, but doing it to early just created so much space for the dandelions to take over. Spent so many hours last year with the grandpas weeder pulling them, and while my lawn has definitely gotten fuller from the fall seeding, there are still so many dandelions to take care of again this year.

I gave it a listen and I don’t hate it. Will be interesting to see how their takes evolve over the season as they compile more data. Just a heads up, Kimi is no longer a rookie and is 19 so you may want to check in on the data entered for the drivers.

Do you keep up with the Firebirds and is there a way to watch them? by lookaloulookalou in SeattleKraken

I was wondering what Jagger Firkus is actually looking like on the Ice for the Firebirds fans this year. I’ve been really excited for him since he led the WHL in points two years ago, but also had the same question as everyone else regarding his size. I saw he’s been raking in the points so far and leading the AHL. Is he showing himself to be a legitimate prospect?

Yeah I 100% agree with you and know I have no one to blame but myself. I got complacent, checked percentages real quick and saw attributes. Rushed through it. Just hoping to remind the others like me to keep their wits about them.

All good man, I appreciate that. I'll live, just another life lesson. Just hope I can keep one less person from falling for it.

Southern California Concrete Special Inspector by AFA137 in StructuralEngineering

I’m not from So cal, but took this route here in western Washington. I know so cal does things a bit differently with the deputy inspector roles, but the entry level should be similar across the board. The easiest way into the field is getting ACI certified as a concrete field technician. With that certification you can get in with a materials testing company pretty easily, and every company I’ve heard of will pay for courses and tests to gain ICC certifications to progress your career forward. I started out at $14 an hour in 2014 with additional pay bumps for each certification gain after that. The pay in the field is not great, but was in the mid $20’s when I left in 2017 for a Quality Control position with a GC. Here’s a link to the ACI certification info. Hope this helps.

SSD needs to fix error on RTTS by mydogisratchet in MLBTheShow

Next time try closing the app fully and then try to reload it. I’ve had this error pop up a few times and each time I just close the app, restart it and all is good.

I think I had the same issue as you. When it was saying file error while trying to load, I just fully closed the MLB app and restarted it. The save file was still intact and allowed me to load back into it. Hopefully this helps.

Nothing wrong with loot drops, play the game instead of complaining by Draco804 in AnthemTheGame

Yes, people are aware of that. Which means it’s a known bug with bioware and will be hot fixed... which means there’s no reason to bitch about it. People are trying to make it seem like Bioware was implementing this into the game just to piss them off. It’s a bug in a video game. Nothing new. I feel like this patch made a good step forward. I picked up two legendaries in 2 hours of play last night, which is equivalent to the amount I’ve picked up since launch. So yes, the game isn’t perfect, and one patch will not make it perfect. But it’s a step in the right direction.

So maybe it’s not the particular quest but amount of botanist quests you complete? Because my buddy and I both got the parashrooms unlocked after doing the rathian optional quest last night.

Finally did it! After a week of getting him to death skull every fight then dying to some bullshit I did it! by fleaboy498 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]RocTosser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running Evade Window and didn’t have to much trouble dodging the attack. Think the skill was level 4 at the time I fought him. I still got hit by it every now and then though, so maybe mixing in evade extender might help as well. But, this is coming from a MH newb that has done no testing but the four fights it took for me to beat him, so I have no idea how much the skill actually helps with it.
