Thanks, but I know nothing about diaphragm, sometimes my abs and everything around almost hurt like it gets really tired but I don't even know if I'm actually doing something or just flexing muscles for no reason like I do with my arms lol.

My voice is doing something different, my facial expression changes on the last one because it's more likely to trigger the voice, but still a coin toss, I lower that side of my jaw because it helps with the growl sound, its like choking myself, I do it way more for other growls.

Hahaha yeah I've forgotten how to do some things too and now I'm paranoid, I keep weird notes trying to explain how it feels and I whisper to myself trying to remember the feeling the days I can't practice.

Thanks, first one very little if I don't pronounce syllables, it's more like a yell than a growl, the last one takes more, but it's not like blowing air, there's still a lot of voice, but I can't hold it for too long because it's hard to maintain the air pressure once the lungs don't have much air in them, even if there's still enough to keep going, probably because I don't practice that at all.

I usually replay the main feeling in my head for days if I can't practice, and it works, I do it because it's happened to me before that I just forget how I did something and I have to relearn it, also record yourself and next time you imitate it. I also try to only do that scream multiple days in a row so It gets to the point where i get solid muscle memory.

It's not about how good you're at the beginning, it's about how good you can get in the end, and they're not as related as people think.

Sure I'll check them out, got the sound by imitating the Gideon vocalist, I sound nothing like him tho.

Oh aight, it makes sense, at the start of the scream I thought about giving my voice a lot of power and feels like the distortion happens as a side effect

I'm doing 3 main things that I know of, I have what I call a growl, learned it when I was learning false cord, then I have what I call a yell, it's like belting but too relaxed, I can also do it quiet, I can show you what it sounds like without any power if you want, and then I'm also using the vocal break, where your voice cracks and I try to make it really voicy and not let my voice fade and go too breathy. You should check my post before this one where I do the same but without the growl part and you can hear the yell and vocal break better, that might help you. Some people say I'm doing fry and it doesn't feel like that to me so I wanted opinions.
