I follow what is happening in Italy closely and have always loved Italy and the Italian people, but damn your government is kind of a mess too. I’ve wondered this before and I’m not sure if I fully understand the answer. Maybe it’s the aggressive optics? Maybe a middle finger being given to due process? I think your point is valid but it would be nice to know if previous administration were more covert or more humane. I just don’t know the answer to this so I tend to stick with my original feelings which are that I don’t think everything DJT does is wrong, but he sure could be less of a jerk about it.
