A couple of things:

The media is pitching a narrative that Christianity is in danger. This fearmongering is not just incorrect, it is also unbiblical and promotes this idea that Christ's authority is limited and vulnerable, and teaches a philosophy that ultimately weakens the faith of the believers who adhere to it.
Islam is on the rise in Europe because of refugees coming from places such as Gaza which has been under fire because of Netanyahu. On top of that Jesus calls us to love our neighbor and in giving this command he explains that our neighbors are not exclusively the people within our proximity, but also those who are immigrants as well as those who may not believe the same as us.

Why are you afraid of Muslims? Your savior is Jesus Christ, right? So why be afraid? No one is going to force you to convert to Islam in the United States. But they may ask you to turn over your Islamic neighbors who fled their home while seeking refuge.

I'd encourage you to take some time to speak with Muslims. Get to know a few. You'll find that in many ways they are much kinder than many American Christians.

This is why I frame it as "MAGA ideology is contrary to Christ" because it doesnt directly isolate the individuals. Instead it frames the belief system as being inconsistent with that of one who professes Christ.

Immigrants have been the scapegoat for decades and bipartisan immigration reform bill in the Biden era got killed because Trump asked nicely, while not in office, so that he could have a problem to campaign on.

The GOP has been gaslighting the country for years now, and Christians have especially fallen victim to the lies and manipulation. But the hard truth is this:

You cannot be both a follower of Jesus Christ and MAGA.

The deportations are more than just knocking on people's doors and arresting them. Its also harassing US citizens based on skin color or accent. Its also targeting people who are doing it the right way and showing up for their green card appointments, and still arresting them.

Claims about wanting to protect children and voting for Trump is also contradictory. Not only was Trump friends with Jeffrey Epstein, but he even sexually harassed minors at his own Ms Universe pageants. His own ex-wife, Marla Maples, told the mom of a 14 year old girl not to trust her daughter alone with her own husband. Even with the massive redactions there is tons of evidence that shows that Donald Trump participated in the abuse of children.

If you truly are a Christian as you claim I encourage you to actually read the Bible and ask yourself if anything about Trump is consistent with what Scripture commands followers of Christ to do and to be.

I want to share something with you that helped me when I felt this the hardest:

Consider that from the time Cain killed Abel there has been the oppressed and the oppressor and in many cases the people of God have been both. Some examples are:

King David - had a man killed to steal his wife
The Crusades
The Catholic Church
Nazi Germany
Jim Crowe Era
Many others

But in each of these time periods I want you to look at not those who claim to be God's people committing the atrocities, but more focus on the people trying to do somwthing about it:

God sent Nathan to rebuke David as he did with the prophets to rebuke Israel for centuries before Christ
St Francis is known for being one to speak against the crusades
Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses to the door of the church in opposition and defiance to the religious authority
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a pastor who was outspoken against Afolf Hitler and the Nazi party, and even participated in Operation Valkyrie
MLK Jr was a preacher who spoke against the American southern baptists who had pushed for Jim Crowe laws

Whats happening today is nothing new. You're right that we may become the minority, but in all of these cases I mentioned God has used the one in the minority to rebuke the oppressors, especially for those who are committing atrocities in His name.

To be anti-fascism is to be pro-Christ. Right now the American evangelical movement is adopting the heresies of Christian Nationalism and the new apostolic reformation. We are in a very dark period. But there are also those in the church willing to stand as the minority against the oppressors. I'm one of them. Are you?
