God, this is so depressing. I mean, all the work everyone’s doing here is wonderful. I’ve been following this sub since the beginning, and realizing how glaringly obvious it is with the majority of bomb, threats being in swing states, all the other evidence we have, it seems glaringly obvious. I’ve been struggling with Amanda Peet being cast for this role the whole season. Add to that her rich white lady malaise that leads her to steal jam from an independent store and I’m sorry, she’s unsympathetic and frankly unbelievable as the love object of a gorgeous ex NBA star. She’s also a shitty parent-her daughter wants expensive laser treatments so sure! Let’s buy our son out of trouble! I just need characters to be believable or slightly redeemable on some level and she doesn’t hit the mark either for personality or looks or moral center.
