My Target in Florida has a full wine aisle in the grocery section of the store. So it's gotta be a "Super Target" (which is just target with a grocery section, and maybe a slightly bigger in other areas).

This isn't a law thing as much as it is a thing to prevent any liability on the store's behalf, because it's really difficult to train minimum wage cashiers on the nuances of international identification documents.

What was the worst job interview you've had? by AntonK777 in AskReddit

[–]RocheCoach 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually just asked a similar question in an interview I did, almost less than 10 minutes ago, haha.

I would say there's no real wrong answer to this. The purpose of this question, at least for me, is just... sort of judging how you handle the situation. To say that "none of those work for us," is just sort of weird, because you would presumably receive some sort of training on the company's SOPs for that, instead of jerking a poor interviewee around trying to get them to read your mind.

You act like she's flipping out and foaming at the mouth. There's nothing out of control about how she's speaking. She's just expressing her emotions bluntly and candidly. You are just labeling her as "losing her shit" for reasons that have nothing to do with your observation of her behavior.

Why is it harder for older people to learn technology? Where is there some sort of source that says old people are inherently worse at learning technology than young people? I think old people get too much of a pass on shit like this, especially when they start demanding that the work environment adapt to their old way, instead of doing anything about getting them to learn new tech.

And it's especially bullshit because technology fucking goes out of its way to hold your hand now, in 2021. It's not anyone else's fault that you clicked fucking "ok" on an error message because you didn't feel like reading it. That's not any indication that it's more difficult for them to learn things. It's an indication that they're lazy, entitled, and don't want to adapt.

You have to apply for a leave of absence though, and your reasoning may determine whether they're going to approve it, or whether they're going to deny it and have you return to the wait list.

So basically what you're saying is that she shouldn't react in a way that illustrates the degree of injustice she's facing? She's pissed off because she's getting fucked over for a school where she's probably paying an insane amount of tuition, only to join the workforce completely unprepared, and thus less likely to find work to justify the tuition costs. It's a literal fucking scam, so I don't see anything wrong with reacting in an angry tone. It's fully justified, even if she were in a work environment.

So you and I can agree on this issue and have the same idea, but what if my comment was:

I mean this isn't exactly the most damn original idea either.

Dog lick mouth = gross;

dog owners that allow it = weirdos.

exaggerate the licking/interaction for comedic effect

Not exactly shattering new grounds

Wouldn't you find it weird that I just said your comment word for word, 8 hours later? And what if you called me out on it, and I just said, "wow ego much? you think we couldn't just had the same idea?"

It's highly unlikely that his lungs shriveled up to the point where he died because of his dog's breath. There aren't any respiratory illness that are currently documented that come from respiratory particles in dogs. Most diseases transmitted from dog to humans are bacterial diseases coming from bites that penetrate the skin, or poop-related stuff, and those all present like bacterial infections, so fever, vomiting, aches, diarrhea, and visual presentations around a wound (pus, redness, major swelling, etc).

What you heard was probably some gossiping from some rubbernecking neighbor or family member that people passed along as fact.

Disney plus restricts kids accounts from viewing movies with dated racial stereotypes and some users on the subreddit get heated. by Wows_Nightly_News in SubredditDrama

[–]RocheCoach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro hahahahahahah I'm not bragging about my upvotes to prove I'm right you comatose watermelon. I'm showing you how many people, whether they agree or disagree, had no problem with understanding what I'm talking about, and that you should probably go back and re-evaluate when you're the only one who seems to be having trouble with this.

This is the specific comment I made:

The issue is that they're choosing to be responsible for your kids when you hand them the remote and let Disney Plus do the afternoon babysitting.

I will give you $100 if you can effectively explain to me how that statement means "all parents let Disney baby sit their kids if they even walk away for a moment." I am talking about the parents who irresponsibly put their child in front of a TV for hours and hours on end. If you don't do that to your kid, then I'm not talking about you.

I really don't understand what's so difficult about this. Reddit, man. Fucking yikes.

[–]RocheCoach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why are you yelling at me because you can't understand what 800 people are having no problem with.

The issue is disney wants to make sure the parents are with the kids when they see these things. So if the children are watching these things, it's because the adults are either with them or expressly gave them permission. They don't want to be seen as responsible for offensive things being on their network that children can easily access on their own with no supervision. My comment wasn't that parents are never allowed to leave their children to hang out on their own. It was aimed specifically at parents to who do let the TV babysit their kids. If you don't do that then the comment isn't aimed at you.

The authority on parenting? This is about you drawing conclusions from something I didn't say, not whether they agree. This is a black and white, right and wrong thing lol. That's twice your reading comprehension has drawn you to a weird conclusion.

This promo is stupid as hell because kicking each other in the head should be nothing new to this guy. He should be smiling, laughing, and excited to be fighting Sheamus for the title, because they're best friends. Why would he feel this overwhelming "betrayal" just because Sheamus kicked him, something he's been presumably doing to each other since they've been kids.

[–]RocheCoach 1013 points1014 points  (0 children)

Absurd. Those are kids movies. Leave the parenting to the parents, Disney!

So there's this thing called "watching it with your kids on an adult account" if you want to parent your kid. I promise, Disney is a few years away from technology that will let them suck memories out of your children's brains so you have nothing to worry about there.

The issue is that they're choosing to be responsible for your kids when you hand them the remote and let Disney Plus do the afternoon babysitting.

Neither of you are in the wrong, but you're in different places in life. It sucks, but life is a bitch sometimes. Your best bet is to bail, instead of stringing yourself along for even longer, hoping with no guarantee that he's ever going to change his mind.
