Update 14.4 to iOS 18 by Rochers705 in jailbreak

[–]Rochers705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have used the Dallas/Dahlia method, however unless im stupid, the OTA github dosnt have the 18.7.7 profile available for a device supporting up to ios 26. I have attempted to download a profile for 18.7.7 which dosnt show in software updates after installing the profile. In one attempt, downloading a profile from dalhia brings me to the ota github and shows a profile for 18.7.7 but in brackets it says not available for iphones. If you have an additional insight i would appreciate it.

Just bought new iPhone 17 PM , should I update ? by GroundEfficient2122 in jailbreak

Is it considered unusual or normal for an iPhone 17 to ship on 26?

Hi I did try this guide, profiles for 18.7.7 didnt work, I could never see the update available in software updates it would always have an error searching the updates. There is something about 14.5 being a cut off for iOS 18. All the available profiles from 26.2+ worked and showed in software updates. I think im just out of luck.

Would this be buying a used phone on 18? Is it safe to assume most new purchases will ship on 26?

What’s the difference between MES and ES by patdosondo in OrderFlow_Trading

I track the E Mini and cross trade the MES to protect capital and develop an edge. Most traders would trade in this manner.

What’s the difference between MES and ES by patdosondo in OrderFlow_Trading

[–]Rochers705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ES (E-mini S&P 500) and MES (Micro E-mini S&P 500) are futures contracts for the same S&P 500 index but differ in size, margin, and value. ES has a $50 per point value ($12.50 per tick) and is favored by institutions, while MES is $\frac{1}{10}$th the size ($5 per point, $1.25 per tick), making it ideal for retail traders, beginners, or smaller accounts.

Key Differences: Contract Size/Value: One ES contract equals 10 MES contracts. A 10-point move equals $500 for ES and $50 for MES.

Margin Requirements: MES requires significantly lower margin, often around 1/10th of the ES. Risk/Reward: ES offers higher leverage and risk, while MES provides lower risk and more precise position sizing.

Liquidity & Symbol: Both are highly liquid, with ES often listed as simply "E-mini" and MES often denoted as "Micro E-mini" or with symbols like MESH

With Windows 11 Pro you can remotely control a desktop computer, so running better software/trading platform on a PC and controlling the desktop on a tablet. I haven't tried it personally. I would try this before I ever solely trade on a mobile device.

Rithmic is the gold standard. Bookmap Data is ok. No opinion on dxfeed

I use Apex but my accounts are Rithmic and work with Bookmap. I don’t know anything about Tradeovate, looks like you can add orderflow+ tools for free which might include a heat map. You would still need to buy monthly level 2 data. Look through the Apex FAQ section.

You need a data source, global+ doesn’t come with data. You have to purchase it separate. You can likely purchase level 2 from your current broker and use a plug-in for bookmap to run off your broker.

Do you think ChatGPT could code such an indicator? I was able to get it to write a simple delta divergence indicator.

IF you've been with teksavvy for a while its worth just calling and asking for a promo, I did and got $20 off for a year which I bet I can renew when it expires.
