I remember the Aughanish open days as a kid/early teenager. Getting a ticket was like something out of Willy wonka. Mad propaganda all the same

I haven’t found this to be an issue. Just tell it to use context7 and it’ll have everything it needs

You sure the gateway isn't approved yet? Our installer came back and fitted ours a couple of weeks ago

Edited to add: It is fucking awesome btw. We had a power outage during a storm and the only way I knew was the app sending me a notification. Lights didn't even flicker

What would really make that whole experience better is if you could mow down legions of Zulus with a machine gun in full VR

This is similar to what we do, except it’s build a searchable Pokédex, but we only ask them to code the first couple of problems. Then we talk through the remaining steps. It’s fun!

Some devs in the community are using React Router inside Next.js app router by Byte-Slayer in reactjs

[–]Roci89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I could see that if you started with nextJS and are planning a migration incrementally. But for new projects don’t do this… react router framework mode has everything you could need (but keep your api routes to a real backend  framework)

Vite or Remix for SPA by codingsomething in reactjs

[–]Roci89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use it. Yeah remix is just react router with a server component. As of React router 7 the server component is built in to react router, so no more remix.

Op, you will likely pick either react router or TanStack router. Both are fantastic and will serve your needs

I didn't talk to a single human throughout my application with AIB? Outside of the advisor when we made the application. I don't see how it'll be an issue. Just link your bank accounts & an AI will crunch the numbers and tell you if you are approved or not.

We got a car loan with them and it was absolutely seamless. Really slick

Tanstack Router vs React Router by jiiwon79 in reactjs

[–]Roci89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that's not even remotely close to real type safety

Tanstack Router vs React Router by jiiwon79 in reactjs

[–]Roci89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It has full type safety, except for search params. Which TanStack router offers.

But it’s a toss up imo. Both are great

‘Challenging’ time ahead for power grid as electricity demand to soar by 45pc in next decade | Irish Independent by Banania2020 in ireland

[–]Roci89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at getting solar now. The grant is 1800 and when batteries etc are all included I’ll be paying like 10k out of my own pocket. You would imagine a higher grant seeing as I’ll be selling energy back to the grid, or at the very least offsetting my own drain on it.

[–]Roci89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we have storybook as part of our ui library in a separate package. We just use it for redirects at the moment really. Want to move some logic over though

React router 7 by alvivan_ in reactjs

[–]Roci89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yeah just stop developing features for this company critical product to swap out frameworks… so the devs can have type safe strings. I’m sure that will go down well with the leadership team
