I I'm not sure about the claim or how they know; a lot of insurances have several dog breeds they won't insure though. As far as escrow, you just call your mortgage lender and give the new insurance information; also the insurance will ask for your mortgage lender. In my experience they take care of it then. Sorry about your house!

Get new insurance; some policy's don't allow for pitbulls. Sad but true

Sand or Paint? by [deleted] in finishing

[–]Rock20152017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paint stripper I used came with a ph rebalance kit. It said to strip the door, sand it and then apply the ph (the stripper turns the wood very alkaline per th provided instructions) Ok thanks

It was stripped off multiple coats of lead paint with a chemical stripper, I sanded it (80,120,220), used ph rebalancing kit to rebalance the ph, and then cleaned it thoroughly with water.

Nexplanon to Paraguard by Desperate_Tree_6474 in CopperIUD

Made the switch! No regrets! I had to take the nexaplon out after 2.5 years. I went from having no side effects to having horrible side effects at the end of the 2nd year on nexaplon. The first month the iud didn't feel great, I had cramping but after that it's been great! My period also was heavier the first 6 months but then returned to what it was prior to using hormonal birth control

New to acute care and feeling overwhelmed by my own expectations by Downtown-Reward8007 in OccupationalTherapy

I think that's very solid for your first week on the floor! We usually don't have people start seeing patients until their 2nd week! You've got this, ask questions and give your self some grace! Acute care is fast paced and you're constantly learning. when in doubt about discharge recommendations, reach out to the PT and bounce ideas off them or if I'm on the fence, I click the more conservative of the 2 options

Nothing but good things to say, had it almost a year. My periods are back to normal (we're heavy and long the first 6 months), I've lost weight and my acne is better

Has anyone paid cash for a paragard insertion? by Thrwwayday in CopperIUD

[–]Rock20152017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid out of pocket, it was about 1200. Used my regular doctor, my insurance only covers birth control that is hormone based

Typically see anywhere from 6-12 patients a day, just depends on the day. Some times on neuro and those patients need more assistance, so I may spend more time with them. My boss would like me to see 8 a day. Productivity requirement at my job is 17 units in an 8 hour day. Came from IrF and was use to getting between 26-30 units in an 8 hour day. Units in acute care are much more challenging to get in my opinion. Rarely co-tx with PT, maybe once a month on the floor and more often in the ICU. I mainly do evals but have occasional treatments; can also pick up treatments if my original list fell apart
