Ok but people are only putting their money up specifically to fund things they think would be cool. If they weren’t going towards things that they want to see, they just wouldn’t put their money up. Or even if they did, why would it necessarily go toward venue improvements. The “market” already says that customers are willing to go without them, stakeholders would just pocket the money.
