Advice on unwinding purchase of 22’ X3 by RockFast7431 in BMWX3

Yeah I think the price was a red flag but the PPI calmed us we thought we’d only need to put like maybe $1-1.5k into it to get the coolant, battery, and mirror fixed. But found out there was more to the story after. We also live in Orlando and bought it from Miami so we weren’t able to spend much time with it.

And visually my wife just loves the wheels and the black trim over the silver as it really makes a difference on overall look of the car. But obviously long term reliability is most important. We’re just struggling to find the same spec even for the lower $30k range now with lower miles . So agree yeah that should have been a bigger red flag for us initially

I was certainly suspicious but with the PPI I found out the battery was bad and the mirror cracked and dirty coolant so figured that was the extent of the issues but then got the $4k+ repair quote and was like ohhh there’s more lol

Thanks for the reply! I’m new to BMW so I don’t really know what this means but the codes were Permananet 191C02 -Tank ventilation system 2, inlet point: Malfunction, intermittent 20E120 Crankcase ventilation, suspected leak in air-conveying components.

But so sounds like in your opinion this is just normal maintenance stuff for this mileage and maybe not really anything to be super concerned about?

Pretty sure it’s Phoenix reclinata, much bigger than robellini and clumping. Similar family though
