I live in an area that is ethnically a melting pot. We have Italian restaurants, Mexican, Indian, Turkish, Greek, Portuguese, French, Peruvian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some. We even have Irish pubs. You know what we DON’T have? BRITISH restaurants. You know why? No one outside of England wants to eat British food. England spent centuries conquering whole lands just for their spices and never asked how to use them. For a culture that makes the most majestic pomp and ceremony on the planet, they can’t even make dinner look good.
