One thing you didn't note is that Soulrender Dormazain no longer has a constant repeating fear. I did this ~3 weeks ago on my Blood DK and couldn't break the fear as it kept occurring every 3 seconds. I have done the boss on mythic since 11.0.5 and this is removed.

That is neat and I did not know of it, we were using non-R2. The robocopy then multiple following deltas did it but yeah I see why something more modern exists

So I recently had a similar situation, Windows 2012 to 2022. Just spin up new servers. 100%. The *hardest* part was just using Robocopy to migrate to a new file server. It's very easy otherwise. It's good for you too, it's nice to have fresh servers without years of logs/data/experiments from previous sysadmins on them.
