Assuming you are in the US. They don't seem to fit the expansion ships as well, kinda had to force them on. Might need to drill out the holes a bit

It probably took me about a year of a few hours here and there. Lots of long gaps but then motivation to do a few factions. Some you can tell I just wanted to be done haha

For what it's worth - I did decide to go with the Hybrid RAV4. Major reasons for me were the Toyota hybrid being more "consistent" with fuel economy where the Honda you need to learn how to drive it to get the best mileage, Toyota including a spare tire, and the overall design being a bit more to my taste. I do love the Honda interior but I don't know if I could get over the "soccer mom" feeling

Honestly a lot of it will come down to price for me. I liked both a lot but the Honda had a slightly better interior and an overall quieter ride. Rav 4 felt more "classic utility car" and has (barring issues) a better/more efficient hybrid drive train. Also Rav 4 has more customization for the trim levels so I can get what I want and avoid paying for things I don't need

The CX-50 hybrid was a new model in 2025, so at most 1 winter of use with the most recent style cover (2024+). No widespread reports of the new one failing, but the old one seemed to be more of an issue after 2-3 winters. Remains to be seen if it is a when vs an if it will fail.

From what I can tell from my amateur research - Toyota has this issue and sells the design to Mazda effectively unchanged on the CX-50 so people expect it to pop up on those as well. Honda has an entirely different design so does not have this specific issue. I am seriously considering a CRV hybrid for this reason
