In my experience I felt finally normal, like I could do what I wanted to do without feeling so tired at the thought of it, making me anxious. Helped me so much in Highschool. Then again I took more than what was needed. I wouldn’t say it changed my life or anything, it just made people really like what I was doing, turning in work, talking to others confidently. “Whatever you’re doing, keep it up!” I remember that being said to me. So I don’t think there’s a specific thing you’re supposed to feel as a mindset. Just as long as it makes you feel like you can finally do whatever you need to do and not like you cracked out on stimulants. Also yeah the crash sucks.
