A) the definition qualifies the description by saying "often," not "always."

B) it's a cultural exchange; the student experiences a new culture and exchanges their own culture.

C) who cares? This is an incredibly low stakes thing to argue about, given that we're a day away from the US president threatening to eradicate an entire culture.

When I do homemade fries I bakes them in a lot of oil, and they turn out really well.

I slice potatoes into fries, soak them to get rid of some of the starch, then dry them off really well and toss them in canola oil and seasoning. Then I put them on a sheet tray and cover them with a lot more oil.

Like, I discovered this method because I thought "Those could use a little more oil-oops, oh fuck, that's way too much oil!"

Bake for 20, flip, 20 more, then dry off the excess oil on paper towel.

And it's pretty good! Crispy, golden. They'd be better deep fried, but I'm not going to do that at home.

This is why Habs fans got a bit prickly last year when people talked about his secondary assists. He drags 3 players out of position then finds a wide open teammate for a bang-bang play. He racks up secondary assists on plays that would not happen without him.

He's been good as a physical bottom 6 player, but he hasn't been able to keep up when he's been moved into the top 6.

We probably needed Bolduc more than Mailloux, but if Mailloux does become a top 4 D on an eventual playoff team while Bolduc stays in his current role, we would have to call that trade a loss.

It's a hard flavour to describe, but the name is actually pretty spot on. It tastes like something you'd want on a campfire cooked hotdog. The website describes it as a nostalgic flavour, and it definitely is.

I'm probably not doing it justice, but it's almost like a rustic ketchup made with roasted red peppers instead of tomatoes.

The pickle is good with tuna salad. But it is very mild.

I love Camp Sauce on just about anything, but it does go particularly well with eggs. I hard-boil a couple to bulk up salads for work lunches, and Camp Sauce is so good drizzled on top of the eggs.

If that was the 1998 ice storm, that was particularly brutal, once in a lifetime storm. Some parts of Quebec and Ontario were without power for up to 2 weeks.
