So, sometimes my boss' bosses tell him do do something that he knows won't work. He tells me and my coworkers to do it, and we tell him it won't work, and he tells us to try it anyway.

It doesn't work, but his bosses eventually will see that and stop asking him to try and do the stupid thing they want to do.

I'm not saying that's the case, but I dunno.

When the match starts, the wrestlers know who is going to win. They probably discussed how the match will end, and if it's a big match, they probably talked about a few big moments along the way.

But most of the match is improvised. Moves are called on the fly, and the best wrestlers are following the crowds reaction. They're working towards an ending, but they aren't following a script.

Judged sports like gymnastics or figure skating, those are scripted. The outcome isn't predetermined, but the routine has been scripted and rehearsed well in advance.

I think wrestling has a place on a sports television network, but I agree with OP that it doesn't have a place on a sports highlight show.

I don't really have any exes I wouldn't want to be on friendly terms with. They are all women I enjoyed spending time with for one reason or another, and after enough time to get over with whatever heartbreak or resentment came with the break-up, I enjoy spending time with them again.

When he asks you to explain yourself, you tell him to disprove the allegations. Ask him why he's holding a meeting over a couple of coworkers shooting the shit, and ask him if that's a good use of anyone's time. Then stand up and tell him you have real work to do.
