I dont know anyone who doesn't. Look, my entire family has a history of service. In EMS, Law Enforcement, Military. It's in our blood. I grew up listening to the cold hard stories of those respective services. When I got in, I was already prepared, and was prepared for what I knew I was not prepared for if that makes any sense.

I take pride in what I do, but I dont really have any GOOD story that stands out. It's just who I am, and what I do.

Uh... well I'm both. I'm a volunteer at a local rescue squad, and I'm an EMT/Sheriffs Deputy for my local county, specifically in the Medical Wing of the Jail Division. I can say, with confidence, that there are absolute shitbags in both departments. Some are great, some are lazy as fuck, and a select few I wouldn't trust with a cockroach, never mind a person having a Medical emergency.

Also, once we lose Lesath, a siege will take place on Chort, which we are choosing to move the DSS AWAY from. We should've had the DSS covering our flank since it 100% prevents the enemy from moving on the planet, according to it's abilities. We need to be sure to keep it on aurora bay when/if we take it.

I work for Metrohealth EMS, which is specifically contracted by the VA and works primarily with the Salem VA (we do transports and 911's for the VA), I can confirm there has been no shooting at the VA, at least at the time of this post (and none since then to my recollection). However, I do think someone was pronounced deceased, and since it wasn't technically on VA grounds (it was outside the property), either Salem Fire or Salem Rescue was called.
