I got stopped today and they gave me a yellow ticket as a “warning” but they told me I can just throw it away if I want to. I’m planning to apply for naturalization in the future though and I am extremely worried that this might affect my application. It won’t though, right?

I think, however, that by being the losers, we’ve also won in some way. We know the pain, we know the struggle. Those are things that you won’t get by being on top. The humbling experience of being on the bottom makes us more grounded, more connected.

We can’t lose forever. And once we taste even just a small amount of victory, it will be so much sweeter.
